It is handy for kill skills. I had Onslaught so every time it gunned down a Rakk I'd get bonus damage/move speed to help me with killing the Warrior (using my Fibber :p)

I've heard the Warrior drops better loot the first time you kill it. I think my Soldier just got owned then because it dropped an Orange Handsome Jack head for the Mechromancer >< Fail legendary.

dont kill any of the other AI, because you'll need something to kill if the Warrior knocks you down.

best thing for him is a 21% reduction in damage fire relic, because then you hardly ever go down.... just watch out that he doesn't step on you by mistake ha ha.

so, finished the game last night, enjoyed it but the final guy was rather easy.
Died once due to being flung back into the lava and drowning in it but that was a cyrstal monster. I just hid under a rock porch (for lack of a better word) and just went at him with a sniper rifle while throwing the turret out.

Only playing single player, not fussed about coop so is there any reason to play through again? Or is it worth looking at the DLCs? It does annoy me when DLCs are out so soon after the game is launched :(

my Firehawk's about 42k, but nevermind that. Look what Blue dropped for me lol

Depends on the build. -24k is a pretty hefty penalty sure but on a class with lots of boosts to shield regen you'll have way more longevity. Using it on someone like Salvador with lots of health and regen boosts would be silly but someone like Axton with a couple of skills that reduce recharge delay and increase recharge rate it would make sense.
 
Its the fact it slows you down to walking pace that I didnt like. I tried using it on Hyperius, but you cant dodge the rockets with this shield.

Yeah that does render it a little useless for boss fights and I imagine in general its seriously annoying to use just because of how long it would take to get anywhere.
 
Ah that's a shame. Looks like a decent drop other than that. A decent shield is about the only thing I'm missing now

My Salvador is at almost 110K health. Just need enough shield to survive the first blast attack and I should be ok

yea that shield sucks; no way man.... my Firehawk shield at level 50 is weak compared to others, i didn't use it yesterday, but the Cursed Bain SMG deffo isn't, it's 7500 fire and it zaps everything very quickly.

but he cant move if you use it in Gunzerker either, mind you he doesn't need to because if you combine that SMG with my fully auto fire shotty then he kills everything easily just standing there.:cool:

i went back to that area between ``Angel's bunker`` and the hyperion base, i farmed the 4 cases there for 1/2 an hour and found 12 elemental snipers all over 12000 damage/ 3 huge shottys and 4 pistols, this area is miles better than farming Warrior, because i tried him again last night and he's utterly useless.

i found so much gear yesterday that i was throwing away new stuff that i only found a minute ago, i now have 4 fire snipers, 5 shocks, 4 acids, it reminds me of farming Crawmerax.

i havent seen anything above a 60 000 shield, but this shield size reduces max health by about 16000.... flipping heck, so this is the same as a 40 000 shield with + 16 000 health roughly.

unfortunately, my Firehawk is too low, made even worst because the Gunzerker relic i use reduces the shield even more, i think it's about 32 000, so if you go into Gunzerker run into a fight it goes down as soon as you open fire, it's literally that bad, because the shield is nearly down before you can even hit the F key, it's only any good against a few of them at a time....

I've never gotten higher than a Super Badass Varkid (admittedly I've only tried twice :p) and they were already hard enough to survive against alone. Was hoping to try some Ultimate Badass in an attempt to get the Quasar.
