Sent of my email early on today and got my key couple mins ago. Added after system restart was shocked to see windows is not activated "what" so restarted and now its back ok again LOL

I actually think the media centre key is a full product key, under activation status under system info you'll see the last 4 digits of the key shown aren't from your Windows 8 product key, but form your media centre key.

Got mine, installed.

Exactly the same as Win 7 MCE. Haven't even bothered to update the theme. I always made heavy use of MCE, not sure why MS have decided to begin to abandon it.

So just say I was to install Windows 8 again at some point. Would you enter the Media centre Key or the Windows 8 key?

Now I just need to make the jump and actually upgrade... Got it all downloaded ready to go... just need to do it I guess.

Mine did this when I upgraded. Click view details, when I did that it said windows was activated.

It has added the key but is now saying it has been used on another PC.
