I've got the code (already running Win 8 Pro). I ran slui.exe 3 and entered the new product code but I get the error:

The product key you have entered will not work with this edition of Windows 8.
You must either run Windows 8 setup or enter a Windows 8 product key.

What gives? :confused:

My key has arrived however I have a Volume License version of Pro and the "Add features" option is missing!

There are a few posts around the web and it seems that you cannot add the option to the VL version.

Anyone have a hack / fix?

That's the issue I have. I had to reinstall normal Win8 and choose Pro :rolleyes:

By the way, there is a Media Center update scheduled task that wakes up your PC in the morning if it's in sleep.

Took me a few attempts to work out what was waking my PC up!

I ordered 2 keys 3 days ago. 1 turned up straight away which I used on my main rig... I thought the othertturned up 24 hours later.... It didn't and long story short I inputted the original key into my laptop, which got accepted until it rebooted and now windows 8 is deactivated because the key was already in use...

I can't reactivate the laptop until I either format it and lose my data, or a key turns up... I've tried 3 email accounts to press and nothing...

Now what?
