You only have to start at Heros Pass once. You can save and quit and reload inside the Vault. Plus it only takes 3 rocket volleys to kill him, ~3 minutes ish. Then 3 minutes to sort through the loot. Not that big a deal, its just looking confirmed that Conference Call is Story Kill only.
 
Rank 49.. almost there :) Just got the season pass to make a start on the DLC. Playing through with 3 other people atm.

To get legendary weapons you need to kill him by pressing that button during the story. If you make a save just before heading in to kill Jack and the Warrior, then copy the save file, you can keep killing him and he drops a legendary every time. This is according to a mate, I haven't tried it. Although I believe him as he sent a bunch of screenshots of the legendary weapons on the floor before picking them up.

I guess it depends on whether you class this to be cheating or not. Either way you will end up with a CC, so this way is just faster I guess, although you do then have to kill Jack and the Warrior each time.

I got one legendary drop, but may be just a rolling loot table.

This is partly incorrect, the story kill simply has a 100% change of dropping a legendary/head skin. The legendaries just have a very low drop rate on all subsequent kills.
 
You get a golden key which you can use to open the chest by the Fast Travel Station in Sanctuary. In it will be 2 random Epic or better items for any slot.

Usually. If you have quite a few to spare it can help to use some at lower levels if your starting to struggle but the chances of getting a decent item you want to use is hit n miss. But generally you want to save them till lv50.

Just can't agree with this, it's a superb game. It was only £20 from Greenman Gaming on release date as it was. If people only paid £11 for this game we would never get any more like it.

I paid £30 for mine and so far have played for 110 hours
Football ticket costs £30 and only lasts 1 1/2 hours and was in a shop yesterday and a box of fireworks was £60 pounds for 45 seconds
I think the game is a bargain
