Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch trailer also )

Remember Yahtzee has stated on many occasions that he is so critical of most games because it's what people expect of him.

What I mean to say is, don't read too much into his reviews, they are designed for amusement and not to be particularly informative.

particularly informative !... he doesn't describe Borderlands 2 at all, that review is no good for anyone.

i wonder what he thinks of Serious Sam BFE ...... ha ha

the name of the next one has been out for ages, its the details of it no one really knows.
 
Well it sounds like another Arena. An also Hyperion out of the way an Torgue next, we're just going to be playing through all the corporations.
 
Thats not all that surprising really.

In the first one you were fighting agains the Atlas Corp. The Zombie DLC was fighting for Jakobs. The Knoxx DLC was against Atlas again. The Claptrap DLC was fighting for Hyperion (I'm surprised they never made any references to this DLC in BL2).

Now you're fighting against Hyperion and Torgue seem to come up frequently in adverts as you're walking through town so it could be you're fighting for Torgue this time.
 
I am genuinely becoming so frustrated that every Assasin Class Mod i find has +5 in Ambush. I dont have ambush, its a completely wasted stat for me. Why is it on EVERY mod?

If you're just going to play single player i would leave it.

Both the Borderlands games suck as single player. You have to play co-op really or not bother.

This is a load of old crap, any other words of wisdom you coudl let us in on so we can ignore it :rolleyes:

It's a great game in co op and solo.

It's honestly not. Co-op it's great but single player it's very "meh", just doesn't feel right.

If you want a single play FPS there are loads of good ones out there. This isn' it.

If you have a LAN party going on or hell even just you and a mate then this is a great game to play.

btw Reemul it's ok for others to have a different opinion. This is a forum after all;)
 
I haven't played Borderlands 2 co-op but so far single player is fantastic and I wouldn't have a problem recommending it to anyone.
