Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Don't know why people bother with Amazon for pre-orders. For normal stuff yeah. But for pre-orders they NEVER get them to you on release day.

Tesco used to be awesome for pre-orders, when they were Tesco Entertainment, now they've moved it all under the Tesco Direct banner they are rubbish :(

I'm going to have to find a new favourite pre-order place =/

Anywho, will be going to Sains after work to do some weekly shopping and nab it for cheap :D

Oh, and looks like you're right chap, Sainsbury's have suddenly upped the price to £32 with £30 shopping :(

Oh they better not have! That'll be bloomin' annoying. Make me go miles out my way to go Tesco instead >_< First world problems!

BUM!

Well that's annoying.

Nothing in the post this morning.. Nice one Tesco Direct! I wont be using you again. Not going to sainsburys now. Could have justified spending £30 on shopping to get it for £25-28 but not for £33... :(

Should have mine today, not too sure based on what people have said on here, but at the same time, I'll give it a shot, are the aps anything like BOPS1?

Although I didn't pre-order with Amazon for this, I've found in the past that they are alright for pre-orders, even with the free shipping option.

I think you will find that what has tripped them up here is the same as many other retailers and that is Activision's draconian shipping embargo.

I thought they'd tried to get rid of quick scoping ?

Yeah the snipers are having a field day...BUT...to be fair, when i watch the killcam of me getting my @ss handed to me, it's not a quickscope, they are spotting, aiming and loosing a round in my ponce :(

personally im finding this game good.

im level 26 so have had a chance to play most of the maps and game types.

im also finding its different to what people are saying about sniping. i have come across some quickscopers but thats never gunna change.

i think this game favours the run and gun approach, its very fast paced and smgs work very well.

im using the first 2 assault rifles, type 25 and the first one you get and they are superb.

im on a pretty bog standard internet package with O2 7mb down & 1mb up and im not experiencing the lag as others say. i dont win every 1vs1 but i win my fair share.

i think this is like the MW2 days where the host gets an advantage (i managed host 3 times in a row and beasted) but at least you know who it is so can avoid them.

i give it a thumbsup

Just popped to the 'small' Tesco and purchased the £25 PSN offer and was charged full price as the offer isn't going through.

Contacted my friend in Tesco HQ and it was highlighted this morning and stores should have updated to the proper offer. So there are stores out there that haven't activated the offer as such.

I was refunded the £14 but have just found out it should have been double the difference.

And from another news source :

"For £37.97 at Sainbury’s store or online, those buying an additional £30 worth of shopping will be able to get a £10 discount, which as ideal way to reduce the cost of the game down to £27.97"

Doh, I spent £30 there yesterday, my copy was dispatched over the weekend, didn't arrive today, and I paid £35.99 for it too:o

How do you know who's hosting? Is it obvious or just how the lag "feels"?

i know ive got host when the game starts im straight in (leaderboard shows everyone else as dead but me as alive)

finding the host you can normally do the same right at the start everyone will have a red bar connection and someone full green.

apart from that you lose a 1 vs 1 with the same person almost every single time.
