I have to admit the thought of putting mine straight on the bay and making a reasonable profit is incredibly tempting... money for nothing. I can wait for the next batch for the right price...

It's true it did say 3-5 days, but then on the page where I actually paid it said "two day delivery - £9.99"...which is pretty confusing, I honestly did assume I'd get it in two days because it seemed that was what they were asking for £10 for... I'm not that bothered as long as it gets sent out tomorrow but I can see why people are a bit peeved..

Yeah but a £100 to some people is one hours wage. You cant put a price on fanboy items like phones.
 
Well so much for my order (successfully landed N4 16gb). I asked google if I could correct a typo in my postcode (not a major one - would likely still have got to me without issue). Advised I did not want to cancel. And I've since received an email to confirm my order was cancelled.

No chance of recovering that order now. But, after all the fuss and problems of the release of the phone, I've lost the will to get annoyed too much. As other people have alluded to, it's just a phone (but a very nice one).

I do feel a wally for entering the wrong postcode though - think it's been wrong for years - but was never an issue with all my other orders being digital downloads.

Just to add to the variety of information regarding shipping, this was just posted on XDA in the UK thread:

Hi guys thought I would post this in here as it may prove helpful to some people.

Just spoke to Google as I saw my order, which was apparently successful, was still sat at estimated delivery of 15th November. So to make sure I wasn't going to be sat around waiting for no reason I rang them. They told me that in fact the estimated delivery is 3 weeks!!!! and that I would have to wait. Despite the fact they took my money. I explained this and asked if they had basically sold me a phone they didn't have and was I waiting for new stock and the guy went silent. I just cancelled it and said I will wait. So you could be waiting three weeks if that's the ETA for orders they have accepted. Also, if you have that as your status still maybe give them a ring. I got straight through.

Could just be an Ebay seller trying to make money of course.
 
I seriously doubt that guy tbh.

To add others are saying they have called them and have been told they will get shipping info by noon tomorrow, basically it was a troll.

Some one who has theirs are still saying estimated delivery of 15 or even pre-ordered could ring themselves and ask, then post up what's said.
 
I got a Nexus 10 coming so I tracked it and apparently it has already been delivered....................................on the 26th of October :eek:

This happens often, delivery companies recycle tracking numbers and sometimes it shows old tracking info for a few hours. It will update later. Grats on the shipping. :)
 
Great news for me, a friend managed to get 2 16gbs and will let me buy one at cost, letting me put my 8gb on the bay for £360 ish I guess, this phone just got even cheaper!

nice friend! if i was in his position i would just let my mate have it for the price i paid. OFC if its a close/good friend.
 
dont hate me but i put my 8GB on ebay. The prices are mental right now. i was going to sell it on here to people at cost but it seems a no brainier to put it on ebay

Anyone who is willing to pay over a £100 premium just to have it is a bit mental to me.

Ill just wait unftil some 16GB units come back in stock if thats 3 weeks so be it. I didnt sell my Onex luckily, Onex on CM10 inst too shabby :D

If I get mine while they are still going for that price on the bay it will be going straight up for sale... I can wait if others want them that bad...
 
Personally, I don't think people boasting about profiteering on devices they don't need (or ultimately should not have ordered) will take this thread in a good direction.

Why openly say you were gonna give it to someone here at cost, but now decided to ebay it for more money? Just rubbing people's noses in it tbh.
