I found the sound to be about average not very loud just OK. Build quality seems excellent, decent plastic protector on the back which would possibly stay on for a while.

So if my orders delayed, I can raid the CPW store in Westfield? ;)

Glad to see that but read it somewhere that it's taking longer, maybe it's a random thing

Everything about Google's processing of these seems random :p

I'll be completely baffled if nothing ships today because of those that shipped yesterday.

It's as though Google set up the software side of things a month ago and haven't taken a look at it since, and have contracted a few temps to do the packing and shipping in their spare time.

I'd agree it's looking unlikely, looks like the emails that were sent out to people with multiple orders today offering them 24 hours to cancel any unwanted extras meant that there was no intention of shipping today.

A cynic might say that it's a great excuse for not dispatching for yet another day dressed up as consideration for their customers. As it would be the only thing Google have done correctly with this launch, it might not be far wrong.

guess on availability

My contract is up in 4 weeks...

was waiting and adding to cart yesterday and failed!

I appreciate nobody here knows whats going on but wondered others opinions on;

1) likelihood that google will have sufficient within 4 weeks that customers can readily buy from them?

2) how the price is likely to change? Was this a launch offer to get attention and the price is likely to jump, or will it continue?

If goes well hoping for Nexus 4 and moving to giffgaff before Christmas.

If not then maybe stick with T mobile and their best offer on a Galaxy S2 (still probably paying more!)

Price will stay the same. There will be numerous new batches over the next 4 weeks, that may sell out as well.

Only the outrageously impatient will bother buying from eBuy for those prices.

Was going to get one then sell whichever I preferred less from the Nexus 4 and my current Galaxy Note II. If the sound's quiet then that might be the final straw that makes me overlook this unit, despite the potential small profit on sale.

Why? You were told at the start (At the add to cart stage) 3 to 5 days delivery.

This can't be argued with unfortunately, however it doesn't change the fact that the order processing seems to be atrocious and some people received them after 1 day. It's onl;y annoying because of the deliberate technicalities such as 2 day shipping that is actually next day via TNT. Just pack the stuff and whack the TNT delivery sticker on it, I'd guess they've not actually had the stock.

The most annoying part is trying to arrange being round for delivery when there have been so many completely logical potential dates that it could be.
