Our cameras have digital spirit levels in the viewfinder and LCD for both axis but this was the same price as a cover without level so why not
Really though I got it for another purpose as per the new gear thread details

I think it's time for a decent camera Simulatorman, Are your photos meant to be that grainy? They dont look that good to be honest with you mate.
Because some of us don't have them inbuilt like you Raymond.
Plus switching to the inbuilt screen one is a pain and I don't trust it...... But I do trust some cheap ebay thing

I confess, I've never used it, built in or external on the tripod.
I have actually got one of these, like 10 years ago, but found it easier just to see through the viewfinder and frame the shot how I want instead on want the level tell me I should.

It is a decent camera but I'm using a high ISO so it's to be expected. I do have a DSLR but it doesn’t fit in a shirt pocket. I'll make them better next time just for you.

I think most people with disposable income to burn usually find something trivial to blow it on. For me its World of Warcraft merchandise and American soda/candy
