Good has nothing to do with sales. Clearly crazy frog was the Frank sinatra of our time.
if his album was any good, he wouldn't need to be on x-factor.
So in reality, no different whatsoever to the point I originally thought you'd made then. Thanks for clarifying.

Are you his brother or something?...and how many famous artists in the last few decades could we say the same for? Plenty of them have their own signature styles. That is his.
They really do have good writers, on X-Factor.
When the ratings drop or they want people to talk about the show, boom, a favourite is booted off while some soppy ******** and a bender from Essex progress through the competition.
if having an album out and then going on x-factor (a show i'm sure an 'urban' act like himself probably detests) isn't a sign that there is no market space for an act like this, i don't know what is?
he'll have a small following, of course he will. i know it's not about sales but i personally don't find him new or ground breaking and it would seem i'm not alone as i'm sure i'd have heard of him before if he was something special. y'know, like psy?
We must vote rylan to win now. Cowell must be going nuts.
The album is only available on his own website, he was a start-up band with almost zero marketing or finances behind him, which are both key to promoting albums and selling records. Do I really need to explain basic common sense things like this to people on this forum?
Ryland: I think he will be involved in TV, in some capacity, just not as a singer, as he is pretty bad.
your man crush on the bloke is now obvious. no, you don't need to explain common sense things to people on this forum. just as i'm sure you don't need an explanation of the obvious fact that there is no market for his act at this time?
How is it any way obvious that there is no market for a guy who can sing and songwrite? Please explain your, ahem, "logic".
because he's not really urban and he's not really original. i'm not saying he can't sing but i'm assuming he can write his own stuff as you've said he has his own album. i've only heard him sing covers. first couple of times it was great, then i realised that he only has one style in his locker. a style which, these days, has an incredibly short shelf life.
there's stacks of people out there who can sing and song write.
he might get a few gigs opening for labrinth.
