I've been messing with the .ini file gotta say it looks so much better now the Grass SSAO makes the biggest difference and slow swaying grass... only problem with it is the grass is all pixely because of the ssao but i still prefer it now after reverting back to default it looks crap in comparison

this dosen't show the changes 100% and by the time i took the original shots it was dusk so it had a foggy orange tint too it but trust me its better.

I vaguely saw a hint somewhere about editing a config file to enable multi core CPU support? Is this true or did I imagine that?

Performance varies wildly for me in this. Sometimes my GPU is working at around 80%, other times less than 50%, then things start to get laggy. Anyone else experience this?

LOL...not having a dig at you, it's just not my play style. Always prefer to roam around with 2 or more players, just felt we were being perhaps a little too careful last night.

The DC happened around the right time as i'd been playing around 7 hours or so and tiredness was setting in.

copy and paste all that into a new notepad page and save it as local.ini in your the warZ folder make sure it saves as that exact name and it will work thats my current setup for better gfx i still got amore fps over standard in game ultra settings too.

Happened to me tonight. Was at echo hitting a Zombie, my game crashed and I was dead when I logged back in. My loot was dropped as my team mate spotted it lol.

Hey dlknight, remember when we questioned how the hell people got on certain buildings and some said it was because they jumped in windows?. Well that's not strictly true, if you ever see snipers up on buildings that don't even have any stairs such as the fire station here's how they do it!

Actually most of it is true, to get on roofs you do do it from windows or even shelf's like in the post office. You kinda jump crouch into the slots. Some you have to log out once in that position then log back in again to appear on the roofs. But some you just get to a window and keep jumping. Done it myself a couple of times just to see if it works and it does.

Join a 38 man server last night with 2 others and head to clearview to kill some people. On the way there we hear gun fire and looked up to the huge hill to the left of clearview and spotted about 6 guys up there with rifles, snipers, look outs, etc.

I went to cross the road and got taken out by them which is fine.. Hop back into the server with my character in smallville to sneak behind them while my mates were about to head up the hill and bam, all 6 of them were dead and chat raged after apparently a cheater had shotgunned them all in the face in the space of a minute haha.

Just after my mate decided to try and get some loot so simply jumped up and bang he was shot in the head too.

Then we join another server. Watching these three guys in the centre from the hill and suddenly one of them just turns towards us and the binos come out even though we're looking at him through trees? We decide to head into the town as we don't have any long range stuff. So go down the hill to the right, across the road and through the parking area, sneak round the corners, just about to go round the corner with the diner to our left and bam, 5 guys lying in the diner all watching our position. They didn't see us, they didn't hear us, no zombies we're agroed. They just all happen to be looking in the same direction we were coming from armed to the teeth?

People moan on the forums that everyone moans about hackers when they get killed but you know what, that's because the majority are probably hacking!

I turn FPS mode on when it's dark which helps me see at night and I still get spanked by people when it's pitch black, across the map and they don't have night vision.

Everyone is quick to run and shout "hacker", when in actual fact the vast majority of the time it's nothing of the sorts. The exact same thing happened with DayZ, BF3, and pretty much any other FPS game that ever existed. You got beat, you want to blame something so jump to the easiest conclusion that means you weren't at fault.

I'm not aiming this at anyone in particular, but the amount of whining about it is only ever increasing, and it's bloody annoying. I can't actually think of the last time I played an FPS game without being accused of cheating. Some people just can't face being bad.

I've never hacked a game in my life, I would not even say I was a great player but the amount of times I've been accused of it just because I got a kill that was unexpected is crazy, I've also had instances in games where I've been hit by unbelievable shots but before I start shouting Hacker from the roof tops, I give the benefit of doubt.

I've been kicked from a community because they were adamant I was hacking so I know what it's like to be accused when your simply better than the other person.

I consider myself to be a pretty good gamer and more often than not will win in most situations. Saying that I fully accept there are plenty of people out there who are much better than me.

They didn't see us because we not only went down the side of the hill out of view of clearview but it was also pitch black, 3am in the morning. None of them who went to my body afterwards had night vision. We didn't make a sound, carefully avoiding pavements not to make footsteps. If it was day time i'd fully accept the chance of being seen but come night, it appears everyone seems to have super vision.

It's so easy to run an ESP in the background to simply tell you where people are without using anything else and being totally obvious. I can fully believe that statements like "50% of the community are hacking" on the WarZ forums, it could be further to the truth than people think.

I hold my hands up, I’m a total fan boy of Dayz… Its out of this world, true simulator of the end of the world type thing

I bought and played Warz and played it solid around 18hours a day for 2 weeks. I got so so so so bored. We have 2 guys in my clan who don’t work and played this for something like 6 weeks straight non stop and now cant bring themselves to play it. They say not even the eventual thought of questing or cars could make them come back.

This is just a mod of the crap War Inc.

Would love to have an idea of how many Warz players will be buying standalone dayz when it comes out. If any1 is interested RockeT put a load on information on twitter last night, think its @rocket2guns
