The GTX580's are the best choice here, as in the absence of the GTX480's they use the least wattage of any single GPU cards OC stock. The CPU was chosen purely for being from the red 'team', and the cooler was chosen along with some red fans to be extra specially red and allow you to overclock your CPU massively so that it consumes an obscenely small ammount of power.
Be sure to write to all 4 high performance HDD's at a time, and burn two blu-rays at a time, while running Furmark on all GPU's as well as Prime95 large FFT's on the CPU to attain maximum eco friendliness.
Be sure to connect the GPU's up to a wall of massive CRT's as well as these low power LCD screens are very inefficient.
All in all the PC is so eco friendly that it is green despite visually seeming to be the opposite of green. If I made it visually green as well it would be too green and tree's would come to life and destroy it for creating an imbalance in the force of green-ness.

Getting back to thread topic I will probalby gettng this nice Blue rey burner for xmass. Has good reviews.

Assuming you want to play Blu-Ray discs isn't it usually advisable to get a retail drive so you get some Blu-Ray playback software or do you plan on trying to find a free alternative?

After much researching I have finally decided to get this sweet little drive: WD 2TB Green Desktop Drive. Packed with good technologies that make it worth while and make it greener than other drives of similar specs. Latest update on this build ladies and gents. Thanks for support and encouragement to make my 'green dragon' more green than others.
