I was watching some tat on BBC yesterday about sleep insomnia and the presenter stated that due to snoring people are getting divorced.

There was no evidence to back up her claims and BBC with their usual propaganda can delude most people but not me.

So can someone point me to where I can find information on reasons for divorce in the UK.

P.S If people do indeed get divorced because their partner's snoring is unbearable then their relationship was unstable in the first place.

I went with a right fit Doris who snored, Didn't find out until I'd smashed it a fair few times as we hadn't actually slept together. When I did sleep over at hers & she started sounding like a cross between an elephant & a train, I went & slept on the sofa. I never slept over again & it fizzled out within weeks which was terrible as looking at her I'd smash it till it caught fire. :(

Sounds like someone is looking for reasons to get a divorce. Just shove some cotton wool up her nostrils.

My missus snores sometimes, I literally cannot sleep and after a couple of night of that I'm going spare. If it was every night all night then I can imagine something would have to be done.

Sleep deprivation is and has been used as torture.
You can get to a point where nothing else matters but to sleep.
Even to the point of leaving your wife.
You can live without one and not the other.

I am a heavy snorer and she is a light sleeper, and I have very bad habits (lard arse and a smoker) which will attribute to this, as well as a deviated septum, so when we moved a few months ago - we got separate bedrooms, sorted.

My ex was a terrible snorer but we had a system where I would goto sleep first and I wouldn't wake up from her snoring

It's almost impossible to fall asleep with a snorlax next to you though
