Snoring = Divorce

I know somebody who divorced her husband because of his snoring. I am not sure if that was reason put down for the divorce. I do know she had asked her husband to seek help about his snoring for a long time before she actually divorced him.

I find pressing a pillow into their face until they stop making any noise works a treat..wait wut

Yep can totally understand this

My Mrs snores to the point that I can hear her when she's in the bedroom on the second floor and I'm down in the lounge.

It does my head in to the point that I leave the tv playing all night to drown it out. Having sky news on gives you some weird dreams. My last one had Donald trump in it lol

I'm a light sleeper, and my wife snores. Half an hour plus of that at 3am makes me strangely unconcerned about the quality of her night's sleep, and I'll either tell her to roll over, or give her a nudge, and that will stop her for a while.

However, a few months ago, she decided to get healthy, and gave up fizzy drinks. Within one week of healthy eating and no pop, her snoring had all but stopped, she had more energy, and was sleeping better herself because her snoring was no longer disturbing her own sleeping.

I can imagine that not being able to sleep for a few nights will make people murderous, not just looking for a divorce, and sleeping in separate rooms (if you've got them) only works if the snorer isn't pumping out the kind of decibels that travel through walls. If it's really a problem, the best solution I ever found was just to sleep in soft foam ear-plugs, and at least you'd get a night's sleep in. Trying to fix the snorer is a bit of a lost cause, and it's simpler just to plug your ears.

My snoring was causing serious problems with my relationship. My girlfriend is a light sleeper and was just not sleeping at all because of me. I tried snore guards etc and they didn't work, she got some earplugs that also didn't work but then somebody on here recommended these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pairs-3M-11...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00

And they have done the job perfectly! She says they get a bit itchy sometimes but she can barely hear me now and so I now get to wake up in the morning without her wanting to murder me :)

My partner snores like some sort of beast in it's death throes. Drives me insane, I tend to roll her onto her side, usually waking her up, but giving me enough time of peace to get to sleep myself.

Luckily for me I only snore when I've got a cold, oh wait it doesn't matter I sleep alone in the loft conversion anyway.

The dog on the other hand snores like a large bear, he sleeps in the kitchen and I can hear him through 2 closed doors and 3 floors!

Snoring doesn't bother me - what freaks me out is when they talk in their sleep - like wooot!!

I was the worst snorer out of the two of us though - Two reasons - A)- I was getting fat and not exercising and B)- Being absolutely shattered by bedtime always made it worse.

As for divorce - funnily enough I've just been reading up on it today lol. There are only a couple of options that one can state for a divorce - adultery, and unreconcilable differences. How the BBC can state it was snoring is BS - there isn't an option to select lol! - unless someone has been naughty and has been divulging detailed information about divorces.......
