X-Factor 2012

James Arthur is my favourite, though that is more down to his singing style.
I dislike ballads and that's all Jahmene can do. He is unable to do anything uptempo or aggressive. I liked Hometown Glory by J.Arthur. That is something which Jahmene couldn't have done if he had 1 year to practise it.

I do wonder though, if Arthur is capable of working hard enough to "make it". Some contestants think that just because they appear on this show, that they have already "made it". But this show is merely a platform - a free advertisement if you like. And just because you appear on an advert on TV does not make you a start. You need to work even harder.

It's important to hire the right people to manage you. Normally, when artists become too big headed and decide to fire the team which made them big, they head downwards. The Spice Girls are probably the best example of this.

Over the last few years One Direction, JLS, A.Burke and Cher Lloyd have been amongst the hardest workers and they really have "made it". It's difficult not to read about One Direction or see them on the telly, without a week going by. They are particularly big in the USA.

And as for today, I think Chris and the boyband will be in the bottom 2.

She's miming? From what I can hear of the TV it sounds terrible? Surely can't be what the actual record sounds like?

You can record a "live" version too in more open conditions than a studio so that it doesn't sound too perfect. It was clearly mimed, her lips were nowhere near in sync with the music.
