I picked up one in store yesterday for £179, so there might still be a few left if you phone around. I'm based in Cornwall though, so we don't have the high demand of larger places around the UK.
not that I can find anywhere without modding it yourself rollins, wireless charging will die soon anyway seeing as Apple filed a patent for it on the 4th dec..

Edit: looks like Apple put in it's application a couple of years ago but this chaps just making a bigger deal of it by digging it back up.

Decided to go to Curry's today and pick one up. Any problems I can just bring it back to them. Having great fun with it so far. Any must have apps?
Not without paying way over the odds for it from what I can find Purdy, 3 mobile are doing it on contract but it's silly money, it's also on a few auction sites but almost £100 more than RRP etc.

The nexus works well with a USB dongle, cheaper than a 3g unit
I put this very question to a certain etailer, who a lot of folk have been buying Wi-fi ones from recently (via EBay), and received the following reply:
"Thank you for contacting our Customer Support Team.
After looking into your query I can confirm we are due stock of the 3G version but we have not yet been given a date and as such it is not advertised on the website.
Based on delivery estimations I am unable to guarantee that we will have stock before the end of the year.

It certainly looks therefore as if Google are keeping them all to themselves at the moment, which is a shame... if I could have ordered mine from anywhere else I would certainly have done so!
Yeah is a pity indeed, I'd maybe have considered a nexus 10 but a nexus 7 has an amazing price imo and would be good for a year or year and a half and then I'd pick the the latest release.

Good shout actually never considered it as I'm sure as hell my old ipad wouldn't have been able to do that
, and tethering from phone isn't really an option due to only have 1gig which I seem to burn through.

I'm thinking about selling my 16gb for the 32gb one. Anyone else done this? If I can sell it for £130-140 and get a 32gb for ~ £180 that isn't so bad really.

It would be interesting to know how many Nexus 7 3g devices have been sold by Three. I suspect Google could have sold many many more if they had been sold via the usual retailers in the run up to Christmas (dependent of availability).

On the assumption that is a serious question, and that you haven't already placed an order, the answer is almost certainly "yes you have"!
Unless you want to try and pick one up under contract from 'Three', the only stockists of the SIM free 3G Nexus 7 are Google themselves, and am sure you will have already read on here the problems many folks are having who have already placed an order for one.
