Damn, did you find out what thread those blocks use?
Get creative with 90 degree fittings to get the memory in![]()

Here's my Heatkiller backplate for 7970 if you want to compare the holes for yet another block.
The two far right screw holes use 12mm M3's, the rest are 8mm M3. Having said that the backplate really doesn't provide much cooling, so I'd imagine if it mounts successfully and stays put without moving it would be fine, it's not like you need perfect contact for it.
Looking really goodLike the way you solved the MB/CPU/VRM pipe work

very neat indeed with the 90 degree angled fittings.
quick question regarding these: i have heard that the 90 angled ones might slow down the waterfowl, is that true ??
Tempting though the duck joke might be I'll resist
I have read some posts on slight flow reduction depending on the number of 90° fittings used but I think that as long as you have a decent pump like a D5 you should have no issues as long as your loop isn't massive and by that stage your probably looking at dual loops or multiple pumps.

I better quote this post otherwise if he edits it nobody will know what we were on about![]()
