I'm in PT1 at the moment, could you just be a little clearer about whether the quests reset or not for PT2?
Are you saying not to touch the DLC at all until i've hit level 50 (so don't do it in PT1, too late!) or not to touch it on PT2 until i've hit level 50?
the quests are repeated all again for pt2, the playthrough is exactly the same..so yes they all reset... everything does
but i'm not sure about the DLCs
because i didn't get them till i was already well into part 2, but they are at the same level as you..... i think, the best loot is at level 50 so save them to the end,
i'm not sure if the DLCs reset though if you've already done them in pt 1, so it might be best to be safe and leave them till level 50
generally speaking, always leave the best side mission looting till level 50, you'll remember these from your 1st playthrough
because a ``legendary``weapon found at level 38 will be excellent yes, but useless at level 42, so all the best stuff you got in the 1st playthrough, do not accept the missions in the 2nd playthrough till the end... dont collect the mission.... ignore it, because if you collect the mission but dont do it till 50, it'll still be back at level 43....

what you must remember is a really great sniper rifle lasts a long time in the 1st playthrough, but doesn't in the 2nd, the 2nd playthrough is a bitch, it's really hard, the game levels up way above you, it keeps leaping ahead of you, so your guns become useless pretty quickly.... therefore, ignore the best loot side missions till the end
