Ok, just made a pledge too. Played Elite to death when I was kid ( and got Elite status ).
I just hope Mr Braben and co. can do the business and create the game we all want !
Happy Birthday to David Braben btw.

Maybe I'm being a little dense, but the tiers are a little baffling now.

-£20: Digital copy of the game.
-£25: Digital copy of the game, plus 500 Cr, plus everything above except the £20 reward.
-£30: Digital copy of the game, plus everything above.

I know they've been put in at different times, but surely it would have been better to streamline them a little. And why does the £30 tier include everything above, while the £25 includes everything except the £20 tier, when they all give you a download of the game?

It doesn't need stream lining this is usual on kickstarter.
The £20/25 are limited, the £30 has no limit. So although it's the same it's always available.

I want the explorer start, but I can't justify the money :( I would love to start on the edge of known space.

I'll up to £25 for the extra money though.

The £20 (and now the £25) pledge level was a reward for early adopters, the £30 tier is really only there for people who still want to give a little bit more.

Yeah, but that still makes the wording of the £25 a bit odd. The £30 includes everything above, like the 500 Cr, but then why note in the £25 tier that it doesn't include the £20 reward but not make that distinction for the £30 tier? It almost implies that the £30 tier comes with the £20 digital copy as well but the £25 tier doesn't.

They should have really closed it off, so that if someone gives up a £20 pledge, then it's gone for good.

Still trying to make up my mind whether it is worth increasing my pledge from £20 to £25!

I would love to go higher, but funds are a bit tight at the moment! :(

Would be lovely if it could somehow reach the stretch goal for 10 extra ships - variety is the spice of life, and all that !

If I win the lottery tonight then I'll up my pledge to £3000 to have a star-system named after me ;)

Out of curiousity, I wonder what the largest pledge someone has made from OcUk ?
Jokester may take that honour if he's gone for having a planet with his moniker on it.

Just over £1.22m now, and while the rate appears to have dropped off of its £10k/hour peak a little it's still climbing fast.

I reckon today will see this funded to £1.25m, possibly even by 6pm like Jokester said, and there's a real chance at the stretch goals being hit too.
