He's obviously referring to people bringing stuff up from 42 years ago when they were adults that consisted of a grope.
Not nice that it happened but hey, let it die, nobody died or ended up in a mental home.
I was very uncomfortable last night after I had come off the stage.
Another band went on and the next thing I know I'm being pulled to the dance floor by different women who grab a feel or think it's funny to stick their breasts into me and just because I'm a man it doesn't make it any different.
Uncomfortable but I'm not going to lose sleep over it or bring a case in 42 years time (I'll be 96).

I agree I have to admit I didn't read the whole thread.
People do overplay things if I'm honest I have had many a chance to put in a sexual harassment case in but I have no problem with it tbh,but the people who do have a right to complain but leaving it that long is just plain compensation claim rather than a to stop someone case.

Well if nothing else, the whole Saville drama has helped keep our minds off the continuing economic meltdown.

I don't suppose we could try to find a way to blame Jim for the recession?

The whole thing is pathetic, all the "victims" should man up, and get on with their lives. That's right, their own lives. The man is dead, you would think that would be enough. They still have their own lives to lead, and should make the most of them, as life is precious.

A slightly fair point made very very very badly!

I'm unclear - If I assume you are trying to suggest people who were under aged, and abused, should just "man up, and get on with their lives," then frankly, "dear God man!"

I think this story has had its time in the sun, now. Too much time, really.

Lately I've been reading about new anti-privacy laws being pushed for by the current govt. They want to spy on everyone's 'net use, and one of the ways they are justifying this is claiming it'll catch more pedos. They've already claimed that 25% of everyone in the UK was abused as a child (Home Secretary's office stats). Something I find very hard to believe.

Oh and the idea is now that if you want privacy and don't want to be monitored - well, then you must have something to hide. Exactly what the govt wants. "Nobody trust no one."

pretty much says that people outside of saville have come out with allegations against other celebrities. Although unconnected still implies hes a dirty nonce
