Don't bother with insurance, just offer police officers £1k cash every time you get pulled over. Will probably be cheaper.
IM SO LIEK, JEL, MAN.
If you're trying to be sarcastic and make out that i'm trying to show off i'm not.All I asked was a simple quote for that car at my age and I'm getting sarcastic answers or people not taking me serious. I don't know what i've said that could be so funny.

I am honestly intrigued as to why you think random people on an internet forum can give you a meaningful quote with no information given...
And even if I was 17 and only driving for a few months what would be the difference between a 50 year old taking his tests and have only been driving for a few months?
Subscribed.
Please provide pictures when you buy it.
And I'll show you pictures of my 3 legged golden flying pig.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'VE DONE WRONG. I HAVE NO IDEA. I'M NOT ARGUING WITH ANYONE I'M TRYING TO ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS TO GET A SUITABLE ANSWER AND I'VE BEEN ON THE WEBSITES AND IT SAYS NO QUOTE COULD BE GIVEN AT THIS TIME. SO I CAME ONTO THIS FORUM AS IN THE PAST THEY HAVE BEEN HELPFUL SO I THOUGHT IF I POSED THEM THIS QUESTION THEY MAY BE ABLE TO GIVE A SLIGHT INSIGHT INTO WHAT I SHOULD DO OR WHICH OPTIONS I COULD TAKE. AND SO FAR, THERE HAS ONLY BEEN A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE EITHER, TAKEN ME SERIOUSLY OR ACTUALLY TRIED TO HELP. AND YOU TALK ABOUT TROLLS? GTFO.
I was looking to buy an Audi Q7 next year but was wondering what the insurance would be? I live in East London and I would be 17 when going to get Insurance. Would being insured as a named driver bring the cost down? Or even registering the car out of London?

OK. To answer your questions;
- The cost is likely to be astronomical.
- I don't think being insured as a named driver is going to do much to help, and if you are the main driver, it's technically insurance fraud.
- Registering the car out of London; see point two.
The fact is, as Fox said, you are a 17 year old new driver, in east London trying to get insurance on a £64,000 vehicle. That's an incredible risk for an insurance company to take and that will be reflected in the premium you pay.
Thank you. So what car do you think I should buy? Would I get insured on a 3 series or 5? I just don't want to be driving around in something that looks like it came out the 70s.
