If the country was suddenly fixed, and everything rolled back to how things were 20-30 years ago, more people working
Oddly their pay hasn't changed in about 15 years (something like that) so in a way it should have risen (plus the good ones work a 60 hour week and the PM works something closer to 80, figures from A-Level politics 7 years ago).
Ok, so, members of OcUK, if you were given an anonymous survey that basically says, 'would you like to be paid more?' What would you say?

They 'deserve' to be publically flogged then locked up for good.
That's an unrealistic proposition. The advantage of free movement and capitalism is you can say 'Go elsewhere' when you want more money. There's only one lot of MP's in the UK so they can't. But do you really want a race to the bottom for the people who bring in the law for this country? Would we not want to have higher and higher wages to attract the very best this country has to offer ensuring the legislation going through is being thought out to a higher standard?
Who cares? They can think what they like.
Pay them 100k but no expenses what so ever.
Screw that. Move parliament to the centre of the UK. Sell off expensive London real estate. Done deal.

God I've waited ages to say that. I feel dirty now![]()
They are underpaid when compared to other industries and positions with equal responsibility.
