What do you do when your bored at work?

My Boss is fine with my Dyslexia, but some staff unaware of it when they receive an e-mail of me think what the hell.

He was more concerned with the fact I'm also dyspraxic and he kind of chucked a £5000 Power over Ethernet injector to me on my first day for us to install and I completely missed the catch. Ever since I have been known to my department as the 'Juggler'

On a more serious note. I either do not have the time to be bored at work or quite simply the work itself is always varied!

Don't get me wrong I really enjoy my work and even though I work in a school, I would say I get on with all the other members of staff (-1)and students.

But there are days when no one has come in with any issues and we have done all the stuff we can do for ourselves, so there is just time to waste.

We've had similar threads before and I'm amazed how many people get the time to be bored. I've been working for nearly 39 years and never had time to be bored in all the jobs I've done and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Am I lucky when other people seem to get paid for doing nothing?
If I could get paid for sitting at home I'd obviously do it but at work I don't ever want to clock watch.

Tick Tock Tick Tock. Sometimes doing nothing can be a god send. I would say it depends on what activity you are doing at the time.

I work from home, so almost anything I want. Watch tv, a film, walk the dog, go for a swim, go into town, eat as much as I can; pretty much anything.
