I work from home, so almost anything I want. Watch tv, a film, walk the dog, go for a swim, go into town, eat as much as I can; pretty much anything.
I wish I worked from home =/

Automating tasks (via coding/model building) & multitasking often allows you to do more work than you are assigned & well above the average for the team (while still having wasted time bored) - it also depends on the nature of the work (If I kick off 17 large queries I can't really do anything until they are finished). We've had similar threads before and I'm amazed how many people get the time to be bored. I've been working for nearly 39 years and never had time to be bored in all the jobs I've done and I wouldn't have it any other way.

i usualy just sit staring at the norks of the hot programmer nerd chick who sits opposite.
I know, both me and my daughter have been through all the official tests but you have just proved you can do it by the post I quoted. Yes there are a couple of things in there but they look like typing mistakes.
(I had to edit this 4 times)
I have no idea. Last time I was bored at work was in June 1995.
