13.2 Beta Drivers Leaked :)

Thanks for the update tommy. I'm sticking to 13.1 WHQL as they seem very stable until the 13.3 beta's are released.

 matt, not ready to really get into FC3 yet as I need to finish other titles first so the checkerboard bug(on Tridef-it's fine on 2D) hopefully gets addressed or Ubi fixes it as it only started on the last patch.

Have they bothered to fix HDMI audio? I'm on 12.11's and losing hope.

The 12.3's work afaik with no problems, I don't use HDMI for audio, but I have read about the issue and it's pretty poor it's not been properly fixed yet as they had working ones in the 12.3's.

Get 12.3 drivers, run it to unpack the files, either just uninstal the HDMI drivers from the AMD installer and just run the 12.3's HDMI package, or:

***W7 only***

Cut the 12.3 HDMI drivers from the package and swap them with the 13.1 HDMI package after unpacking to your C drive, uninstall AMD drivers/caps-restart.

Use AMD's new AMD Uninstall Utiity as long as your not using W8-restart.

Goto where you unpacked the AMD driver and run setup>hopefully, working HDMI.

On failing that, if it's for an amp, I also read that a splitter running between the amp and screen, forces the audio to kick in as it should.

just because I was curious, to see how well they overlaid each other

These were over 5 minutes.

We could do with some 7950 owners testing frame times in Skyrim, on 12.11, to see if it's a specific problem to the 7950. I can't believe there's enough of a difference with the 7970. Maybe it's something specific to TR's set up.

Will wait for the "official" release of the beta before going to it myself. Looking forward to it though, hopefully they include some further fixes for other games they might have tested :)

Did you remove Caps b4 installing these or did you just install
over the top?

I remove them and use driver fusion to remove all left over elements then install the new drivers and caps. Its a ritual i have going. Technically though caps are just an XML file so as long as you don't have more than one installed at any one time it shouldn't make a difference.

Just in case you've installed the latest Beta and are having issues

THE LEAKED BETA 13.2 IS AN UNFINISHED DRIVER SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED
TO TEST FRAME LATENCY, WITH NO FINAL QA COMPLETED ON ANYTHING ELSE
IN THE DRIVER. PLUS OTHER GOODIES INTENDED FOR THE REAL 13.2 ARE MISSING.
DO NOT INSTALL IT."
