If they were off doing their own thing you'd complain they weren't listening to the community. Seriously, why do you even play?

LOL, they are not listening to the community, they spend more time posting over at Reddit then they do in the Official PS2 forums.

But don't get me wrong, I do like this 6 month road plan and that we can choose or vote for things, but there is always two sides to a coin Sleepery, otherwords I could slap you on your left cheek while rubbing you better with my right. :p
 
Sometimes I love playing a lone-wolf in big multiplayer games.

I was at Scarred Mesa Skydock on Woodman last night (as VS). If you're not familiar, it's only accessible by air, or a teleport. Flew in with my scythe and ghost capped it, then hung around to ward of any defenders.

Once it was capped, NC decided to come and take it back. In the half hour I was there on my own, I killed 2 reavers and 2 liberators with dumbfire missiles, around 10 infantry, and sent another 4 or so liberators packing. Of course I died plenty of times, but I had the spawn room.

Eventually a couple of VS players turned up and they went burster max. More dead liberators, a sunderer, and a whole bunch more infantry couldn't retake it for the following hour before I logged off for the night!
 
Some of the Battles in this game are just amazing. Blows my mind how good the ebb and flow of battle can be at times. Massive infantry eventually shifting to armour and air support to make the decisive winning move are epic. Come off it buzzing at times, like I've just done an 8hr stint on Tribes 2 .. Brings it all back. Real gaming.

Agree completely. PS2 is the only game to give me the 'running up the beach on wake island demo' feeling (since BF1942, obviously).

PS2 is what I thought the BF series would evolve into. It's the natural successor to BF2142, imo.

Haha, classic. What outfit are you in btw? I'm Woodman NC, but I'm with the 151st and while tactically good, that seemed a lot more entertaining than anything I've done with them!
 
Was trying to get a good session going all weekend, and couldn't until yesterday evening, so only got about 2-3 hours of double xp. Shame really. We must fight harder!
