313.95 Nvidia drivers

Unless the Crysis 3 Sp is much different it looks like a 680 can play it well :)
Looks like Titan can wait :D

Is the Crysis 3 beta buggy for everyone ?....takes about 3 goes to launch, fine when it's finally going

Good to hear. I see the 313.96 drivers are out and do they offer more for C3 or is that just carried over from the 313.95's?

GeForce 313.96 drivers fix an installation issue reported with GeForce 313.95 drivers with international (non-English) driver packages.

Just recently I have started to do a clean install and untick the Nvidia update box.

Some systems are just not playing with these though. Hopefully after a clean install you will be fine :)

I don't use that method.

Windows 8 image includes WDDM 1.2 driver from Nvidia, so I have no option to go back to that driver and then install the latest drivers on top of that. Windows 7 users can go back to the generic MS VGA adapter drivers thus removing any traces of NV drivers.

What I usually do is:
- Use Revo uninstaller and remove the driver.
- Advanced Scan and remove any registry traces and profiles.
- Reboot into Safe Mode
- Follow the instructions in this thread.
- Reboot and install the new drivers.

The NV custom installation just deletes previous profiles.

edit - clean install caused flickering, so I've gone back to the previous beta and all is gut!

3dmark11 not very good single gtx 690 down 500 points compared to 306.23

Vantage don't know

Unigine increased my quad sli score by 950 points, also increase on a single GTX 690 by 70 points
 
Receieved my GTX680 just after 7 this morning. Installed these drivers and tried out Far Cry 3, ran smooth as silk maxed out with 8xMSAA. Can't wait to finish work!

Normally I game on this rig but lately I have been using the other one. I will give this rig a good go on Civ 5 when im off work next.

The recent drivers for qual sli have scaled very well with the games I have tried. Hopefully these will work the same.
