BMW F10 530d M-Sport: On-going Review!!

They were giving M5's away for little over £560 a month recently based on 8K miles a year. Adding in my sort of miles would have made that more but reality is very subsidised at the moment with people I know getting close to 25% off the car.

Is that £560 over 4 years? How much down payment?

So for "only" £22k you get to own and drive a brand new M5, pay no raod tax and hand it back after 30 months. Its an ever better deal then they offered on the 640D.

Still not the sort of car I would want to dive but its an amazing machine.

No, including. And it's still not £22k It's:

29x£499 = £14471
+ 20% VAT = £17365.20
+ £3626.96 = £20992.16
+ £208.80 (Admin + VAT)

Total: £21200.96

£800 shy of £22k :p

Housey, go on you know you want to buy it

I'm not spending that sort of money on a daily ****** any more, pointless waste of money. My day to day car needs to be reliable, relaxing and sensibly priced, not an M5 as I simply do to many miles. However, that 535D is worth a punt so will give them a call when I am back home.

Quick update on the tyres. The road noise is now substantially better and no longer anything that concerns me. It seems a few miles have bedded the tyres in so that the noise levels have reduced to a level I no longer notice. I gave the car a little cross country blat today and can confirm they are a very nice tyre to drive on giving improved feel and certainly grip over the previous run flats. Their wet weather performance I can't really judge yet as Ive not had enough time but they are an improvement over my previous tyres in all areas it would seem.
