On Google Play mine says:

30 Jan - Google Commerce Ltd received your order.
30 Jan - You placed an order with Google Commerce Ltd on 30 Jan. Google Wallet sent a copy

Does this mean my order has gone through? Where are people seeing pending?

I wouldn't be overly concerned by that. As far as I can work out they always just stick down the longest time you may have to wait, so everyone probably had 13/02 initially. If you chase the automated mail you get just uses the same date. This isn't to say it might not ship sooner, they don't seem to update this date if anything changes, it just suddenly ships at some point.
 
Indeed, Google shipping is completely random, there's no queue order so what time you ordered and when matters little. Just need to show some patience, I expect most of them will go out within the next few days judging by the fact people are already receiving them.
 
Well like I said, I don't mind waiting as it did state 1-2 weeks when I ordered it so I knew what I was getting into, just need to kick back and wait now :)

My N4 gave me a bit of hassle today. It wouldn't switch on or even charge!
In the end I had to put it into download mode and then it started charging!
 
Is there anybody on here using the Nexus 4 on 3?

DC-HSDPA... My area has this enabled (coverage checker says so)

When using Network Signal Info does it show up as 42Mbits/s in the Mobile signal at all or stay on 21.6Mbs/s?

Is there no case which is has a TPU-type shell and rubber inside to provide some shock absorption? Everything I've seen so far is just a piece of plastic, which doesn't seem very protective at all for that fragile glass back.

When this happened once to me (I let the battery run down to very flat), I found holding the power button while plugging it in did the trick.

It's the same as the Energizer one and charges fine. I think the only issues are that you need to ensure that you place the device on the middle of the charger (the way it should go anyway, a non-issue) and also, I think it has a slightly tilt, and without a bumper the phone slides off.

Yeah I ran my battery down to zero! :eek: It shouldn't happen though, there's probably a power management bug present in 4.2 :(
 
Hi,

finally installed custom rom AOKP. What a palaver!!!!

My sms notification was working ok last night, phone was connected to wifi so i was getting messages etc. I am on giff gaff and it seems you have to manually enter their details into the phone.

I have turned off the notification of the original built in messaging app but get a weird noise before my normal notification sound. any ideas what could be causing this and how to disable?

another thing, i have the nova launcher which seems to put the battery percentage in the top left corner. i have used the rom to take the battery away from the right corner, any idea how to get rid of the nova battery indicator?
