Consequences of crash?

Just a quickie.

Someone i know was involved in a pretty nasty crash today. Sounds like he tried to overtake someone in a 40 zone and ended up crashing head on into oncoming traffic.

Both cars were complete right offs and luckily everyone walked away. He ended up being cut out of the car by the fire brigade.

What are the consequences for him as the driver at fault?
Just wondered really as not sure what happens after a crash like this.

Punch him in the face from me, what a total knob.

I'd hope the police would throw the book at him, and I'd probably say his insurance premiums will go mental with a charge for dangerous driving and a fault claim.
 
His insurance company pays out for damage, injury claims etc.

Police decide if they want to pursue anything further.
 
wow that looks broken. Depends on the situation but as your mate was on the wrong side of the road he will most certainly be at fault.

Might get a summons for dangerous driving but that's about the lot I would imagine.

Looks like an old Ibiza sitting low on aftermarket rims..... That tells me as much about the driver as this crash does.

Stupid ****, hopefully he'll have the book thrown at him for this.
 
I know, silly boy. Sometimes people don't learn until something like this happens. Thank god the people in the other car were ok.

An Ibiza... yea I can see that in it.
 
Gotta be honest, if everybody is ok he will probably get away with a slap on the wrist and higher premiums.

Things like this shouldn't have to happen, an innocent 3rd party now have the pain, hassle and stress of finding another car because your mate is a penis.

I hope he gets the book thrown at him. I maintain you need to punch him in the face.
