No doubt I'm probably going to crash tomorrow now I've said this, TBH I'm not sure really how you could have a head-on in an overtake.
If you can't see because of a dip/corner you shouldn't be performing an overtake.
If you're part-way through and an approaching car comes on the horizon you either floor it to complete the overtake sooner (though I always overtake at warp 10 anyways to get it finished ASAP and get back on the correct side of the road) or you would brake and duck back in behind the vehicle you were over taking. Unless the vehicle you're overtaking is a **** and not maintaining a consistent speed, you're not going to get stuck on the wrong side of the road.
