Been running wanamlite 5.5 for a while now, been noticing it has slowed my phone down quite considerably :(

Looking at putting crdroid on it, whats the best kernel with the best power to snappiness ratio for it?

I just got mine for £22 a month for 1000mins, 5000 texts and unlimited internet.

Thought it was too good an offer to pass up. Especially considering that I'm nearly paying for that for just a sim only rolling contract which doesn't include a phone.
 
I'm getting rid of mine, no matter which ROM I use I keep getting no volume at all during calls. It happens intermittently, but when it happens it's without warning and the only way I can get rid of it is to restore back to stock, then flash another ROM.

I've even tried on stock too.

Why don't you flash it back to stock and send it for a repair? Sounds like a hardware fault :/

Yeah know what you mean. I rarely use the camera so I can actually get by it. Mind you the 4.2 camera overall is utter garbage. Whoever decided to come up with an onscreen-thumb activated UI needs shooting.

Indeed. It's annoying because I love everything about CM10.1, but I need a camera that works when I open it. I'm often greeted with "Cannot connect to camera" half the time.

Might put it back on tonight and find a different camera app. One that atleast offers more options :o
 
I think I've just got a good deal with Orange! Free S3 4G, 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 1.5GB of data on a 24 month contract for £23 a month!

My contract expired on Monday and I've been with Orange for over 10 years, I phoned them up to upgrade and they originally wanted a stupid amount for the contract with an S3. So I went through to retentions and they couldn't do much better, called Dialaphone and thought I'd got a good deal at £26 a month then Orange phoned back and bettered it! :)

Can't wait for it to turn up tomorrow now! :D

yeah, I would leave 5.5 to be honest, wish I had done that! Had a couple of freezes in 5.6 which I'm hoping 5.7 sorts out. I wish I could just leave things when they're running ok but that flashing bug is hard to resist.

I know what you mean. Very hard to stop flashing roms once you start. Have learnt my lesson now. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
 
Anyone know why my s3 won't charge when in its Car Mount (genuine Samsung one) when I'm using WanamLite ROM but does charge fine when I'm using SotMax ROM?

I've been through al the settings I can think of, but I can't find any way to turn that dock charging feature on (or off).

Any ideas guys?

I quite like Yank555 with wanamlite.

What browser's are people using with their S3? fancy a change from Chrome. Can you get the AOSP one from XDA? had a quick search but its a nightmare on that site.
