Managed to get up to this so far.

How you guys get to 100k dps +?

Do I need a higher DPS manticore basically?

A mix of crit chance, your primary stat, crit damage, weapons.. everything really getting them all in a good mix and a high value = high DPS I guess..

Guys,

i've had a game fail , I didn't quite realise the value of upgrading the gem artisan
as I result, I don't have pages of training from the lower difficulty levels.

I have flawless gems which I can combine now.

Does anyone have a load spare? I will pay a bit if someone wants but they must be cheap and I'm not keen on playing low just for them.

Please add me if you can help. Thanks
 
Does anybody know a good source to get value for items (not just legendaries) . Getting use to usnig AH but got to do a bit of research to determine the going rate before guessing the best price.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do some Inferno farming, flawless gems drop all the time. Take a look in the AH as well, gems aren't that expensive.

Frijj here has helped out with a lot of decent gear actually. Kudos to him :D

For efficient farming, there is debate about need for MF or go for high DPS kit and higher MP to compensate?

What are people's strategies?
 
Guys can someone give me some advice on my barb? Been running with the same kit for 19 Paragon levels now.

Its a nice balance of Life on hit/per second and damage. I can solo MP3-4 without any problems (Just killing takes an age on the higher MPs) However - I feel my damage is quite low compared with other Barbs online. Just wondered if I should be replacing any items or going another route.

I've been asking this for some time but everyones thoughts are different. However, I've noticed something the other day which leads me to believe is the kills per minute/damage done...

Solo'd (MF 250, MP 3) = 0 Legendary drops
Playing in a Private Match with 4 of us (MF 260, MP 3) = 1 Legendary drops (Slow run)
Playing in a open game (MF 190, MP 0) = 3 Legendary drops (Very quick run, a lot of people struggling to keep up, a lot of damage from all members.

This is not from just one run of each, its over the past couple of months, I've been mixing it up.

No problem
I prefer high dps/survivability.. and little magic find.. quicker you farm the more you'll find from my experience. Magic find hasn't made much difference for me..
 
"As you probably know, When you kill something with the "Slain enemies rest in pieces" legendary affix ( like Sever / Boneshatter / Last breath ) you get a huge crit damage hit this is useful if you have lifesteal. Here is another trick:

If you use the demon hunter ability Marked for Death - Grim Reaper on a mob and then someone ( does NOT have to be the demon hunter ) kills the mob with the legendary affix "Slain enemies rest in pieces" the huge crit will affect mobs around and most likely 1 shot them.

You can use it for example in MP10 ubers - barbarian with sever kills skeletons near the skeleton king while the skeletons are under the effect of Grim Reaper."


hahah.. tried that and it works, :) ..

anyways I'm about to spend 450mil on a new weapon.. must be mad.. Got lucky, bought three unidentified Tal Rasha's amulets and all 3 rolled crit chance making them worth a decent amount :D only paid 13m a piece for the amulets heh..

Hows the new gun? ( I play too many fps so cba to change the typo :P)
Also where are you buying unindentified items? Not that I have 13 million lying around lol.

Have you earned all that money in game as well? or did you use RMAH?
Also does having a follower in solo games increase enemy strength? I would rather not have him then.

If you have already learnt a crafting recipe can the recipe still drop? For example, radiant star recipes etc.

Only ask as in quite a short period of time all 4 different radiant star recipes dropped for me and since then I haven't found one in 3-4 months. It may be just the odds but thought I would check.

Yup they still drop after learning, i've had Radiant Star Emerald a few times now.
 
Have stopped playing this, whats changed in the last couple of months, has anything worth coming back for been added?
