Sneaky Snipey games?

Can anyone recommend some good sniper or stealth games? I really enjoyed sniping in Far Cry 3. I've played a bit of Sniper Elite V2 and its good, but I'm not really enjoying it. A whole game like the sniper level in CoD4 would be epic.
 
Have you tried the Hitman games? I'm pretty sure they have a fair bit of sniping there. You can get the whole bundle of Hitman games for £12 for steam now, have a look on the daily deals thread.
 
Do you mean the first one, Woden? I've only played V2 and I think it tries to force you to be the generic face to face soldier to much. Id prefer bigger maps with an open choice as to how to take people down. That's what I enjoyed about Far Cry.
 
have you tried battlefield 2, i play that a lot and my main choice of weapon is the sniper..cool working way round maps and sneaking,hiding etc..its online with upto 32 people a side and you dont have to pay except for the game that is...

First one is more sneaky than the second which in some places pretty much forces you to play it as a traditional FPS and makes it impossible to sneak anywhere. Great fun if you can get it cheaply though, the few stealth levels that actually work properly are fun as are the killcams!

You gotta be kidding, SE V2 is awesome :p I suck at it, but it's awesome :p

Its a good game, but as others have said it forces you to play generic FPS soldier mode far to often. Needs less SMG's in corridors and more massive maps with the ability to complete them having never been spotted or even noticed.

Is there a demo for Ghost Warrior? Looks like the sequel is due next month too.
 
Sniper Ghost warrior is ok. But thats all i give it. The sniperingness is fun, and good, the rest... not so much.

When you're far away and told to shoot a fella from a distance its fine, but when you have to go close with a Assult rifle its really hard i think. I always found the problem to be the HUD doesn't give away the enemy.

In COD for example, the blood shows where you are being shot from and then its not that difficult to find the enemy. In SGW I found it rather difficult to find anyone, but appart from that, the levels are pretty fun and the bullet following camera is rather good.

I wouldn't say its a great game, but its pretty cheap to pick up, and i would say worthwhile.
 
Just jump into Battlefield 3 and snipe EVERYONE !!!! hours of fun guaranteed from your enemies responses in global chat :p
 
Sniper: Ghost Warrior isn't that good in my opinion, by all means take a look for yourself and make a decision, but from my experience i would look for something else.
