my triban with its new wheels.. and without the front mudguard(RIP)
quality is poop but thats the best my phone could do, i quite like the new wheels(look wise) performance wise they are a huge improvement and a lot stiffer than my 32/32 which was a surprise these being 24/20
I've been looking out for you, I saw a black guy asking about new wheels with one of those bikes in cyclesurgery the other week, was that you?

Got out for just over 40km tonight, was pretty windy but didn't notice it so much. Passed another rider who hung onto my wheel for a few km's. I didn't realise he was there until I saw his shadow. Wasn't a massive fan of being followed, so got onto the drops out the wind a bit more and kept my speed up a bit over a couple of crests to get a bit of a gap, then he dropped off.
Feeling really good on the relative flat, keeping up a good 90 rpm cadence, need to work on my hill climbing fitness a bit, lots of CAT 4 and a few 3 climbs around here, I've just been avoiding them!

bloody cold this morning!
Went out on my training ride, and my face and toes absoltly froze solid
when i came home i got in the shower and my toes were burning in the hot water, they were red as anything
the wind chill today is high

Well I've recently been testing some strange concoctions of stainless steels, nothing particularly exotic, but I look at the stiffness and UTS and wonder why they don't make bikes out of this stuff? It's not like they can't be fabricated, because they're all designed to be TIG welded after heat treatment, plus stainless steel alloys are a damn sight cheaper than the beryllium alloys.
