is it better than the best yellow stuff, if the true best in slot stuff is a legendary or set item? is it wearable or total trash?

it's the right way to go but seems too random still? i gave up playing ages ago but will come back to try post-patch.

grats. i've not found any of the armour recipes yet, the amulet one did drop though but it was the intelligence one. i put it on the AH before it all crashed :D

Hi

I picked up a new plan for gloves last night but have not attempted to craft anything. Are you saying that you can craft a legendary item from the plan? i.e from your post it seemed that you crafted a Vile Ward? That would be awsome but would mean that picking up legendaries will become redundant?
 
You can make certain set items but not vile wards AFAIK. He's made the rare item on the right.

Also the items are accoutn bound so can't be sold on the AH

And the chance of getting an item that good is quite slim. I also got an amulet plan drop with intelligence :( my monk was sad panda.
