OcUK Rolling Road Day 15 @ PowerStation (Tewksbury) - Saturday April 20th 2013

I'd have come along to meet some new people but its 180 miles away and my car is not worth putting on a RR.

What? Just come! You don't need to run if you don't want to, I know I certainly won't be as I don't give a monkeys as to what power the car is making, I'll still go though to meet up with people I have met before and meet new people too.

I'm provisionally in - my dissertation is due in 4 days later, so will have to see how it goes :)

Stop helping noobs fix their cars and you'll get it done then ;)

Was eyeing up ferry costs but the 20th is typically the only day I can't make it. Wife has a "surprise" booked in for then apparently.

I think the motors section is growing, and hopefully regional events will start to happen, rather than events being around the Stoke on Trent area...

Some of the comments in this thread are rather childish however, not sure I would want to "meet" most of those people.

I was genuinely asking why events were always arranged around that area, if no one speaks up, it always leave those who live further afield being left out.

What on earth are you on about? There's been meets all over the country, a rolling road day in Surrey, Karting in Kent & Hertfordshire, meets in Reading and Oxfordshire. None of these places are in Stoke..

When I get round to booking it, if everyone wants to go back to Buckmore I'll see if I can get a discount this time around...

Oh and I've installed new Dyno software on a new PC build over the last few weeks and had it calibrated again for any Naysayers out there. :D

Poor old Athlon classic and it's 248MB of installed RAM was starting to feel the strain I think (and the fact I had to blow a heat gun at the motherboard for 20 minutes to get it to boot up for the first time when we came back from Christmas break) :D

Still got the old runs saved Andy to compare with?
Also do you know any downsides to running a larger throttle body, say 74mm too 82mm?

Yep did a full back up and Restore on the database so have all the graphs, except one dudes Astra that came in on the day I was doing it, somehow wiped his off. :o

Only that it might make it a bit more difficult to modulate the pedal on light throttle applications. (will be introducing more air for same movement of throttle compared to old)
Depends if it's a restriction at higher flow compared to old as to whether it makes any difference to output though. (when tuned to suit)

Put me down as a definite runner now, may not stick around too long at the pub though afterwards :)

FN2, mods TBC :)

All of the above are even further afield than Tewksbury for me. Having said that I'd rather rub my **** against a cheese grater than attend anything you were involved with...
