Geforce Titan rumours.

This actually looks pretty promising. 1.1GHz on the stock cooler! Under water these things will be amazing. Expensive but amazing

Spot on.

All the haters are going to jump in here and berate anything that is good and not even give a thought to how it overclocks or how it performs in benchs.

We've seen the price so sadly back in reality on planet earth we are now expecting performance to match.

A Radeon 7970 can be had for £269 with a huge pile of free games so we are expecting it to be at least three times faster.

Otherwise we are haters.

Before we begin, please read this carefully. The full reviews for GeForce GTX Titan SHOULD have been released today. That was the plan, however NVIDIA had a very hard time getting the boards out to reviewers in time and, three days before launch, the driver was still not ready. Hence NVIDIA decided to split this release up in an announcement (news) to be published today, then this Thursday upcoming we will be allowed to publish benchmark results. We've got three boards so you are in for a royal treat alright.

Since when has 2 days made a difference to a driver release... if it's broken that badly, it isn't going to be fixed, properly tested and released in 2 days...

And since when has getting boards out to all reviewers ever stopped a release... sounds like a paper launch to me.

Only thing remaining is for the "reviews" to show performance of cherry-picked parts which overclock well.

Edit: Not a hater or fanboi, as I have no intention of buying this or any other card at this price... I'll stick to mid-range cards I can afford.

Shhh careful dude you'll upset some one and be labelled a hater !

Let's just all be quiet and sing the praises of the Titan that way people won't think we're angry.

Oh christ not you again !

Didn't you tell some one yesterday to ignore me? can't you do that yourself?

This card cost three times as much as a 7970 and is, at the time of me typing this, 35% faster.

If you don't like that then tough.

Is that at stock vs a ghz edition though?

Why are you going on so much and yet, have no interest in buying?

You have made your point now please stop ramming it home.

It is like a personal crusade to put people off buying it.

Before everyone loses there mind over the price, remember this card has no 'single card' direct competitor... Yet.

It means until AMD can counter it, your paying extra for the luxury of having the fastest single card in the world now not in a few months when AMD can counter it.

Also worth noting this isn't a limited production card. There will be tight supply initially but lots more being made. Like the 690 launch respectively.

Don't worry about not getting one, there are going to be lot's available.

I have no interest in buying, doesn't stop me from this "God" card performs...

That and I like watching the PR Spin and the fanboy fallout

AMD said they weren't worried - they have something planned, even if it's only a 1.2Ghz Cherry pick of 7970 I would think.

It's a toy for the wealthy, simple as that.

edit: If I was on good money I would buy one because it will either be equal or better than AMDs current offering with physx too.

Just wanted to know why you're keen over the Titan instead of the 690, is it because of it being a multi-gpu like Sin_Chase said?

I had 2 680's, but they struggled on full detail in most newer games. I will be getting one of these now and one in a couple of months :)
