Managed to win the FA Cup in my second season with Southampton. Europe is going to be fun :D

finished 11th in the league so hopefully top 10 next year.

after 12 games im in 9th in blue square premier.

want to finish close to the top without promotion, i think it would be better to do a full season in premier then try the season after for promotion.

If it's down to a lack of morale, organise a friendly against some real minnows for some one-sided goalfest fun when you've got a spare slot in your schedule.

In my experience, in FM a big win is a big win, irrespective of the opposition. A 10-0 scoreline where the team average rating is in the 8s is a real boost to morale, even if it's against no-mark opposition. Morale is crucial; I even think there's a case for it being the most important attribute for a player.

EDIT: Martini1991: Take your first-teamers out of reserve squad availability and let the grey placeholder players play the reserve matches? Or have I misinterpreted?

Or just let the youths play them. They will grow more.

Finished my 3rd season in the prem! :D

Was in the title hunt till I got bunged up with fixtures end of january as well, all down to the capital one cup getting in the way (lost horribly against Spurs in that as well). Got nocked out the Europa league by Liverpool as well in the 2nd knockout round sadly, caused more shouting at players for that as Liverpool were rubbish, we just didn't try away at all.

This season I have had to knock back a £19.5m bid for a DM I bought for £3.5m the year before (english and a beast) need him for champions league though! :D

Have to find a few more prospects though as my squad is down to about 20 odd players...

Afraid to say ur games bugged... Mancity not winning the title or being runner up.... it just doesnt happen! hehe

I got bought by some guy called O'toole.
He is a flipping tool. Don't know how I'm able to cope.

what devision are you in?

Mathew Reace and Tom Bradshaw are banging them in for me.

Sam Pearce and Ben Adelsbury are the main guys in my team. both out performing their stats it seems.

Npower league 2.
First season I took over Havant was the first season I played, got promoted fairly easy.
Blue square bet premier was a little harder, only just managed to get top of the league (Second season in charge of Havant)

I had ~9k per week during Premier, and ~5k per week for the semi pro league prior to it.

I got ~15k per week and 60K transfer budget during my first season of Npower League 2 (Third Season in charge of Havant) and finished 11th.

Now I've been given ~14k and no transfer budget, I'm in second year of Npower League 2. Had to loan out about 10 players to get wages paid for and have some spare.

Currently top of the league, I've got a player with the most goals thus far, the two top highest rating players on average, most man of the matches/clean sheets etc, (That was due some end of prior season restructuring I did squad wise and expanding it this season to get ready)

Although I had no idea I'd be given less support in terms of wage etc, I expected more :(

Managing to fill my stadium at 4.5k people for some games.

HA! :p

It's summer 2020 and United have won the title 3 times in a row, then city did 3 times, then Chelsea and back to United.

Random extra feature that I didn't know about, players seem to be more self aware about the asking prices you set for them, couple of guys seem very upset when I ask for sky high money for them...

Can I check who the owners are and their background?
They may have taken on a massive loan for a stadium we don't need (sounds a bit like Darlington), but they are at least keeping us afloat. They've been pumping money in each month and at present we're quite healthy.

Truly bizarre how you've ended up with a fair chunk more money than me then :p

A couple of times I set my season expectations high to get more wage and asked the board a couple of time to increase it again. It's just slowly climbed up to the 19k it's at now.

All my players want £800 a month with a few over £1000.

I'm having to give some players over a grand a week.
One has recently started losing form after dominating for the last 2 seasons.

There's an epic scout/player who's currently 29 on a free transfer, he'd literally League 2 up.

19k  Crazy... I'm on 6.5k. My highest earner is on £625, the rest are on £475 and under.

I had a similar player/scout I tried to sign, 36yo Salif Diao (as in ex Stoke City), he was league 1 rated. He would have joined for 400pw but couldn't get a work permit, gutted :(

some advice please folks

really struggling in my partick Thistle save, constantly getting messages that i'm being overrun in midfield despite playing 4 across the middle 2 MC and a ML and MR
ML is a winger attacking and MR is a wide midfielder playing on automatic

any suggestions for dominating the midfield a bit more other than going 5 across the middle, playing a simple 4 4 2 2 wing backs 2 centre defs a Trequistra and a DLF up front
