Discovered light weight inner tubes today lol.

Weighed all mine up. Regular tubes seem to be around 98-103g & the light weight ones 67g. 31g saving per tube not to shabby!

I think when the time comes I'm going to need some weirdly proportioned gear... Small frame for my small legs, long stem to account for my relatively long torso, shims in my shifters for my small hands. Ridiculous.

It will retrospectively go through your rides and add you to new segments that people create after your ride, but sometimes it takes a while for that to happen.
So you might find that you end up on top of that segment soon, or you might have to go and beat him.

Latex rather than butyl?

Less hysterisis (sp?) as well so fewer lost watts. They loose air quicker though.

Apparently they're still butyl even come pre-talc'd!

Yeah I love it, although cant stand getting a KOM taken off me, so if it happens I do tend to go out of my way to try and get it back.

i love it.. makes me push harder which is always good! got one KOM afaik.. the guy in front was in a car or motorbike.. with average speed of 28mph and 52 as max.. :rolleyes:

I got my first 2 KOMs yesterday. Granted only 4 people had previously ridden the segments

I know 2 people that have recently gotten their first kom. I'm finding it so hard to fight the urge to go sprint them specifically to steal them.

I've no hope of getting near a KoM, probably ever, but I like it for monitoring my own progress and logging my totals and so on.
