I hope you got a box of Timbits as well.

I like to play a game called 'changing lanes without running over a cat's eye' as well. It's quite rewarding.
What does everyone do to keep themselves from locking up? I am driving down to Essex on wednesday, which is 260 miles (4.5 hours) which is long enough, but I also intend on driving an hour out of my way to halifax to pick up some materials. This makes a total drive time of 5.5 hours, longer than I have ever driven in a day (previous was to bormingham).
I can make it about 2 hours before I really badly stiffen up, and after that its every hour or so I have to stop (I know this is good practice anyway!) but am still quite uncomfortable afterwards!
I also want to drive back up again on the nighttime, or maybe a cheap travelodge if I feel I cannot make it back up.
What do you do to keep yourself occupied, awake etc. I am in a diesel mondeo, and its pretty much all motorway (a1(m) and M11!) which is bad enough!
Plus, I fancy some podcasts to stick on while I am in the car. So spec me something funny / nerdy / interesting.
Man up.
Its not a massive distance or long time.
It is when you sieze up after an hour and a half! It becomes so uncomfortable that I have to keep stopping. I was driving for 5 hours 3 months ago (round trip stopping at various places to pick stuff up) and I was in quite a bit of pain with my ankle by the end of it.

I work in engineering, so while I can give tips for standing up for 12 hours, I rarely drive more than half an hour (my usual trip to and from work)
I wasn't saying its easy peasey, more that it seems a rare enough thing that you do (half an hour usually), so surely its just something you get on and do?
