***** Official Football Manager 13 Thread *****

I've finally gone and ordered it after the demo slowly dragged me back into it. :p

I can see me spending a lot of time on this over the coming months.

What's the best way of increasing the amount of possession my team has? I always seem to end up with the least possession whoever I play.

Currently playing the demo as Man Utd with a 4-1-1-4 type formation. Carrick as a defensive play making midfielder and Fellaini as a ball winning supporting midfielder. I'm guessing I need to flood midfield a little bit more?
 
Well I'm somehow sitting 3rd in League 2 after 16 games. I have a good squad, reasonable squad depth, but absolutely no star players. I have the joint best defence in the league and the 4th highest goal scoring record. Just waiting for the bubble to burst :p
 
I'm doing strangely good with my Saints team...

32 games into my 1st season and I am sat in 7th...not bad.

I did rage at one point, FA Cup 4th round against Wolves...they beat me 8-1...I reloaded and tried about 15 times to beat them...the PC would not have it, strange how they kept beating me about 4-0 by half time no matter the tactics or players I used, I guess there are some matched you cannot win...

My team have also slumped in performance, I was 2 points of a Euro place, and now I'm mid-table...Last 11 league games I've won 3, drawn 3 and lost 5.

I will have to post some shots of my team and what not come the end of the season...

Edit: Won that game 2-1 (away). Was 1-0 down at half time. Tightened things up a bit with an extra man in midfield and played on the counter. Nicked the winning goal in the last minute :p

WOOOOOO!!!!! BEST FEELING EVER!!!! Second to last game and I had Liverpool, sat 1 point from safety, I knew if I won they would go down into Championship...2-1 I ran around the house screaming and crying, I dumped Liverpool out of the Prem!! They have gone down with Wigan and Sunderland whilst I secured 6th spot in the table. :cool: not bad for first season with Saints.

Please post a picture of the league table?! :D

Best relegation I have in my game currently is Sunderland down to L1! There's a chance they'll drop to L2...
