F1 2013 - Teams and Drivers - Who goes where?!

Yup, sorry. I've edited my post. Miscalulated that one. :)

I still maintain though that they were both as average as each other, and thus Hulkenberg showed more than both.

Oh right, I read what you wrote as saying Di Resta out-classed Sutil, which is untrue. Yeah, I think neither of them are great drivers; both have shown promise but not really delivered.

Taking the driving out of it, as that's actually what's important because we're talking about F1 here where the best drivers are needed, his criminal record should not be a barrier. Unless you subscribe to the theory that anyone that has done anything wrong should not be allowed, after punishment, to continue doing that they did before.

:(

Shame for Bianchi.
But there's also a suggestion that if Razia's sponsors don't pay up soon then Bianchi could go to Marussia instead. This is being fuelled by the fact that Chilton is due to drive the first day of the test tomorrow. Surely if Razia's money had been paid you'd want to get him in the car asap.

Yeah Ted suggested in one of his notebooks that Bianchi in a seat came with a requirement to run Ferrari engines, which may go some way as to why he isn't in at Force India what with Di Resta being the reason they run Merc engines.

Sutil apparently brings over £10 million in sponsorship, I doubt Bianchi can come close to that.

If Ferrari offer them any sort of discount on their engines with signing Bianchi, I image Marussia will be all over that.

Unless they have plans for Bianchi next year themselves... Massa's only on a 1 year contract after all...
