**** Official Titan owners thread. ****

Your 570 is IMO one of the best cards ever, still have mine and I don't think I would part with it, If Titan is half as good across the board I will be happy ;)

yeah, they awesome, but i just got much bigger monitor and now gtx570 just not enough anymore...
some ppl scary of that 3 slot cooler, but i prefer good cooling, and that Asus 3 slot cooling is one of the best..

But Titan is something - not that i care about look, but Titan even looks nice
Just wonder how much performance Nvidia will gain with drivers updates on Titan

Both my Asus cards just arrived, now I just have to get through the rest of the afternoon before I can tear off home!

I gave my case a good clean and coaxed my 920 up to 4.2Ghz in preparation.

I managed to get my 3930K up to 4.6ghz and get PCIe 3.0 working in preperation for my 3 Titans :D

An i7 920 may struggle a bit with 3 :)

No sign of more of the Asus cards arriving today yet, starting to think it'll be tomorrow before they show up - getting really impatient for mine to be sent out.

any chance you can change your order to the Gigabytes? there seem to be more of them about at the moment

if you have an Ivybridge CPU then it is "on" by default.
On the Sandy-E you need to do a reg-hack (or use nvidia's own utility that rarely works) to get it to run in PCIe mode

I tried this previously and it would hang my system, but I bumped some voltages and now it works flawlessly

You are going to run Titan SLI on a 920?!

I am too. :)

Yup, at that speed it's hardly going to be causing bottlenecks @ 1600p

I run a pair of gtx 690s @4.0ghz on my 3960x and they don't have a problem with bottlenecks. Just turn all the settings up to max in the games and its not a problem. If you do find an old game that can bottleneck your cards its hardly important as the fps will be well above playable levels.

Where it becomes a pain is running benchmarks, this is where ocing the CPU helps.

But remember benchmarks are not games.

Shouldn't need to use that as Titans are native Gen 3

Thanks andy. I have Ivybridge i5 so should be fine.

I tryed this today i payed 839 for my asus but id have to pay the difference for a gigabyte now so cba

That is a bit cheeky - we were advised to order the Asus ones as there were larger numbers coming in apparently and they were also both at the same price last Thursday.

I've posted in the CS section asking where we are with the Asus ones - I'll post back here when I get a response.
