Walkers' new crisps range uses real ingredients - including meat

Even I would say weightlifting would be difficult on a vegan diet due to the massive amounts of protein required, you'd literally have soya in your veins :p For me as a marathon distance runner, looking to get into ultrarunning its pretty easy as a vegan, as protein is not as important as carbs.

Six months vegan bodybuilder here don't eat soya I'm 6'5 and 13 stone and progressing, some of my protein sources:

Oatmeal
Beans, peas, and lentils
Peanut butter/nuts
Olive oil/coconut oil/flax oil
Eggs
Salmon
Corn
Avocado
Dried fruit
Bananas
Veggie juice and prune juice
Pasta, brown rice, and wheat bread

Oh and as for the crisps, barbecue is my favorite flavour but I hate chicken but beef is okay. Now chomping into raw bloody beef is not for me but those flavours taste more like seasoning than actual meat.

Do you even vegan, brah?

Eggs and fish? Jesus Christ.

I too am confused by this, you don't eat meat, why would you want to eat meat flavored products?

.

because they like the taste of meat but dont like animals being bred/slaughtered solely for food

those people are exactly why quorn is so popular

anyway whilst on this topic why have we not got bacon flavoured cardboard yet ? anyone fancy pitching it to dragons with me as the worlds greatest diet plan ?

How is Turkey bacon stupid? You know you can also get Beef bacon? Both of these are leaner and healthier than Pork bacon.

Quite frankly if pork bacon is "too unhealthy" for someone, they really should be on some kind of diet anyway.

Well its bloody ridiculous that I have to put up with plant flavoured vegetables. I would much rather eat meat that pretend to be vegetables.

Why would a vegetarian want to eat something that tasted like meat?

That's real committed of you veggies! Well played.... pillocks.

No personal attacks - Gilly

Has it not crossed your little mind that many vegetarians don't eat meat for moral and ethical reasons
I'm one of those very people and some days can be a right struggle as the taste of meat is so damn scrummy :(

I don't even know where to start with this...you're a 6ft 5 bodybuilder that only weighs 13 stone?! That's pretty much bang on middle for the bmi...what exactly have you 'built'?

And as for the diet, as already mentioned...eggs...salmon...derp?

How on earth can you get confused.
Not everyone does it for taste. A lot of it for health and/or welfare reasons. So what's wrong with them wanting the taste?

And your last line is just idiotic.

So if they are choosing not to eat meat for health reasons what the heck would they bother eating unhealthy crisps?!
