They do look lovely, and when Agnes went past me, very quickly, at last years OcUK bike meet, they shift. That seat though. I get the feeling your backside will feel better after having been a prison bitch for a month or so than a few hours riding on that :D

Gutted I couldn't get the tail tidy fitted, but I need a new number plate due to different hole placements on the tail tidy mount and no v5 through the post yet to go get one :(

About £450 garaged at the moment as I have an open insurance claim against me from June last year where the learner driver/instructor is claiming I'm liable for them pulling out on me on a roundabout....... which unfortunately means the insurance company isn't accepting my no claims :(

The policy would be around £250 with my 3 years no claims bonus.

PUZE are you happy with the colour match ? because I read your other post I can not get it out of my head, so when looking at your pics my eyes tell me the lowers are a little off please reassure me :D

The color is identical as they're oem match, although I think you're right they are a bit off but I think that's just because the lowers are newer then the rest of the paintwork.

It's a nice bike very smooth on the power although you can wind it up if you want to shift, a lot less revy then my old hornet although a bit grouchy sub 3k around town although you can smooth it out with some light clutching.

I have mine garaged in a nice postcode with ground anchor, alarm, sdp&c and 6000 miles a year although it's only tpft, is that similar to what yours is coming out as?

It certainly is. Though i've ridden an SV650 and that's lovely to ride, V-Twins rock.
I am dropping back to a used SV before jumping on a brand new bike because i've not ridden for a few years. But i also want a commuter/tourer and an SV1000 with panniers will be perfect i think.

Have you tried remapping to see if you can smooth out the low revs?

The quote i did for the SV650 was half that of the SV1000.... so i may lean that way. We'll see..

You can pick up some bargain silver framed SV1000's at the moment seen some as little as 1.5k :eek: I plan on using it for touring mainly, although I'll be looking at some soft panniers later in the year.

I've only had it just over a week now so considered remapping yet, although I'm going to check the TPS calibration first.

SV650 is a lot cheaper to insure and also a cracking bike, but just felt a bit small for me.

Yea I'm on the SV forums although I've not really posted much yet.
