It hurts to go over 90mph so you will be fine :D

How am I s'posed to keep up with that when we go meet riding. :( + :p

Sweet ride. Chuffed to bits for ya mate.

Don't worry mate we will bring up the rear ;)

I have a Dilemma..
1. Cheap Motorbike + Home improvements
2. My dream motorbike ('13 Street Triple R) and NO home improvements
3. Cheap Motorbike and then move up to the '13 Street Triple R a year later
4. No motorbike and loads of home improvements.

What to do, what to do...

A cheaper, few years old, Triple would still be a dream bike surely?

Nope.
I don't like the older round headlight versions and the '13 model fixes and improves on the '12 from things like lighter, new frame, improved handling, low exhaust, fuel indication etc. It is in fact the only bike that i would buy new, i love it.

Plus it would be a £2-£3k bike and triumph street and speeds keep their value quite well so one in this price range would be old and i'm not really up for them.
I would much rather a half decent SV650 for that price range. Which is what i would end up being.

Fairly certain i will be going for option 1.

Which will include a 2006-2008 SV650/S
I planned to get a V-Twin for touring/commuting anywho and leave the street triple r in the garage for nice days.

This won't be definite until move-in day.

Haha :D
Well I have had the 2007 ST to its top speed, not sure how my neck managed that...

I've had my CB1000R to 140mph, on Brands Hatch of course, not the M11, and my neck was okay (it is quite a thick neck) but it felt like someone was on the back trying to rip my helmet off my head...

Yea the pressure is mental, being a lanky git I had to keep my knees in tight and get as much of my helmet behind the silly fly screen :p

We'll have to see on the way back to southampton in may :D

Haha :D practically first gear for me....

When ever someone mentions brands hatch, I feel guilty for never visiting. I can even hear the place from my garden on some days!

Sure! ... Just at a low price of £25 a night ;)

I remember when I worked at the co-op in west kingsdown, was with in walking distance to brands, could hear all the fun but was far too busy "working" :p
