PC Hardware is cheap compared to some hobbies.

I buy watches, ( Omega, Tags, Protreks ... ), Motorbikes gone through about 18 of the things. Camera's and gear

I'm taking the kids to Flordia next year, dread to think how much that will cost.

I don't want to fall out with, or annoy any of the regular titan owners here but im inclined to agree. Maybe it could have been said with a bit more tact, but you know how competitive 8pack is.

Anyway my monies on Kap, i always back the underdog.

A bit of calm bhoys, 8pack replied in direct to gregs new record comment, he's competitive as that's his thing at the end of the day, probably with a bit of banter thrown in too I imagine.

At the end of the day, it's a bit of honesty imo from an employee who sits up and comments on pricing, which doesn't happen much in this day and age.

Besides it looks like el capitano couldn't give a flying **** anyway, which is the main thing.

If only we could trade 200 max fps off for 100 extra fps on minimum fps...or 60fps even, then a 120Hz monitor would be able to run Heaven at a solid 120fps

The min fps is a bug at the start of the bench, well it is for me.

Doesn't matter. He's an employee and as a customer (or not anymore) that kind of thing stinks coming from an employee.

That is, snide comments regarding the price that somebody has paid which indirectly funds his salary. May have been banter but doesn't really work over dry text on the forum. Kaap might not mind but it rubs me up the wrong way and as Andy says, probably stems from the fact than kingpin is tonking him on what he cares about.

Four cards scaling is incredibly poor for the outlay. This will always be my opinion.

I apologies if I offended but my comment was an educated one. I would not recommend four cards to anyone regardless of who they are.

Value for money wise now 7990's look like great value and yes the Titan is extremely expensive, I personally feel it should RRP at £599, not £800-£900 but fact is that its a great card and a lot of people out there who play games do preferre single GPU setup.

He wont beat my 3D 11 4 card score with those pie and peas Titans or my Vantage score for that matter!!!! CPU will be one massive big bottleneck!!! As it will in most things.

Titan is definitely expensive, yes. That much is indisputable. Where the offence comes from is comments like this:

That's the difference between being an employee and just a forum member I'm afraid. You have to be sensitive when dealing with customers even indirectly.
