^^ lol, just lol

That's like all these people who worry about estrogen levels when using tribulus or any other natty test booster

Yes, they'll rise slightly, but pretty much like your test levels rising from it, it won't be enough to worry about causing you issues

I've used the contact us option, sent a ticket via their website. They were quick to reply previously so I'm not too worried about that. Just why a business would damn themself further with an awful courier is besides me!

So I called on Wednesday, after having not received a 'we received your email ticket', which subsequently arrived shortly after.

They were pretty useless, couldn't tell me why it's been sent out on a 3-5 day (when they said next day regardless) or why my tracking details don't work, nor provide me with correct ones, but that it should be with me on Friday. Lets see if it turns up tomorrow.

Will be avoiding MyProtein in future unless there is a significant saving or an exclusive product (unlikely).

I tried to warn you :p

ON fitness fibre allegedly mixes well but have never tried it. Only £5 on the jungle!

That's probably because it contains very little Psyllium husk. I'd just go with a big bag of Psyllium husk from one of the bulk places stick a little scoop of it in with your shakes or whatever and just make sure you give it a good stir or shake before you finish it.

No idea, but it seems alarmingly cheap. Same reason really cheap protein raises my suspicion.

Yup that's the one I use. Love it. It lasts me a good month if not sometimes 2 - but I use it for cooking a lot - I occasionally take a spoonful of it too. I don't use it as a proper supp - but if I'm feeling hungry, or before a gym workout, I'll have a spoonful of it. I just see it as a food really. Cheap doesn't have to mean poor quality... but... who really knows.

Its a coconut, not a scientifically extracted protein process. Squash coconut, get oil.

Yes they could be using chemicals in the pressing process, but i have yet to find anything to support that. Company provided responses advise that no additional chemicals are used in the pressing process. Sometimes more expensive doesnt mean better, it means "we can rob people blind by adding extra words like virgin, and extra virgin!" coconut oil cannot be extra virgin ever FYI so dont get suckered in by that. Thankfully neither of those linked above try to come across as Extra virgin :)

True, but it's £1.69 for 500g. Not sure if being virgin or not matters.

Extraction: The main difference between Ordinary Coconut Oil and Virgin Coconut Oil lies in their processes of extraction. While the former is extracted by cold compression or cold milling of Copra (another name for dried Coconut kernels), with a moisture content of around six percent, the latter is extracted from the coconut milk obtained from the fresh coconuts. Thereafter, using processes like fermentation, churning (centrifugal separation), refrigeration and action of enzymes, etc., the oil is separated from the water or moisture. In some cases, this fresh coconut oil is boiled to get the oil by evaporating the water or moisture. However, in case of Virgin Coconut Oil, the raw materials and the process of extraction should not allow any involvement of heat. Therefore, in good & reputed firms that manufacture Virgin Coconut Oil, throughout the whole process, utmost care is taken to ensure that the kernels and the raw material, i.e. the coconut milk, are not subjected to heat or sunlight. In some cases, Virgin Coconut Oil is also extracted directly by cold compression of fresh dried coconut meat. This is also called Micro-expelling.
TL : DR ordinary extraction processes COULD use heat. Virgin doesnt at any point.

Is the KTC stuff liquid at room temperature?

no, niether is the other stuff

its just not virgin! I am trying out the KTC stuff at the moment, tastes slightly better, gives me the same effects, a little uplifting of energy levels for about the same amount of time.

I dont use it to cook with, and i dont use it as a spread etc so i cannot comment there, but for having in my coffee, its fine.

So they use the more expensive, lower yielding non-chemical process and can still charge £3.40/kg?

They may well be robbing people blind, but at the same time, you've got to question a business that brings a product to market at a significantly lower price. I'm sure they don't do it out of the goodness of their heart. Many businesses aren't very honest and could easily skew things.

I understand where you're coming from, but personally I'd rather spend more and feel more comfortable.
