**** Official Titan owners thread. ****

Haha, when I walk in the room, the girls swoon and cheer (or was that when I walked out?) At my age, I can't remember.

As gor those drivers, they are crap and I wan't ones that replicate the 313.95....Awesome drivers.

Cheeky  But true :p

I posted it just for the avatar rather than to highlight driver issues. :)

Before my red friends start calling me queen of the harpies i was not visiting the green forum rather someone posted a link to greg's thread on oc.net and when i clicked it i thought there's only one titan owning gregster i know of. Then i saw the avatar picture and thought computer says no.

This cool story bro was brought into association with Rusty's Arguments. Org - Because we're always right, even when we're wrong!

I finally got my GTX 690s to run the Tomb Raider bench maxed @1600p by disabling the Aero desktop.
Both sets of cards running @stock CPUs @4.0ghz

Over 250fps on a huge map Kev :D One that I had started a few days ago but forgot to report back.

I have also been using my Titans on a huge map and have been very impressed, the speed they redraw the map as I move around is very quick. If you were to use a pair of HD 7970s they would manage over 100fps but that is not the whole story, it would be obvious as you moved around the map that they are much slower when redrawing even though FRAPs reports you are getting 100fps plus.

Titan is 32% faster on average than a 7970Ghz at 1080p. 33% faster on average at 1440p. 45% faster on average at 5760. A gt680 is 45%+ behind a Titan.

Someone has far too much time on their hands. But that someone has trawled through all the titan reviews so fair play to them. :)

Is there a list of how well different displays overclock? I dusted off my spare Asus PB278Q and fired it up for testing before shipping it out to the guy who bought it and decided to have a quick play with the refresh rate overclocking tool.

Worked like a charm first time, I didn't want to push any further as I didn't want to potentially mess anything up seeing as it has been sold.

I'd be interested to see a list of how well other displays perform, and be very interested in the u3014 as I'm thinking of replacing my 3008, which doesn't even go 1Hz higher :(

Don't forget to keep your pixels cool whilst overclocking the monitor :D

That is a good result and does it feel smoother in games now, or just a placebo effect?

It did seem smoother from the quick test I did. But I didn't spend too much time playing with it as I needed to dismantle the stand and get it boxed ready to ship out.
